He was one of the promoters of Sourashtra Girls Vidya Sangam. He was the president of Harijan Seva Sangam and he was a man of spiritual thoughts. He was the backbone of Srimathi.P.K.R.Lakshmikantham and helped for upbringing Sourashtra Girls Higher Secondary School.

She was the president of Sourashtra Ladies' conference and she gave voice for the progress of women. She helped a lot to form Sourashtra Girls Vidya Sangam.
